Kevin DelGaudio founded Room for Improvement in 2005, drawing on decades of experience in real estate and a firsthand understanding of what makes a house feel like home. He knew that thoughtful improvements could change how a property looks, works, and lives.
Today, his daughter Danielle has relaunched RFI alongside her fiancé, Val Andrew Massar, and their fathers, Kevin DelGaudio and Val Massar Jr. Together, they bring the original brand into a new chapter—grounded in family, experience, and personal accountability.
With their combined knowledge of real estate, construction, and life together, they have built a trusted network of home improvement specialists who share their commitment to quality. RFI coordinates the right people and cares for the details, from the first conversation to the finished work.

At RFI, she guides the visual direction, curates the specialist network, and leads the client experience—from the first home review to ongoing concierge care.

Danielle’s fiancéVal brings experience in business development, operations, and team leadership, with a history of building businesses that have been acquired by private equity. At RFI, he translates his business development skills into marketing, strategy, and growth—expanding the brand’s reach, developing partnerships, and creating new opportunities for the business.

Val Andrew’s fatherWith a background in general contracting and decades of construction experience, Val brings practical building knowledge to the team. At RFI, he leads construction coordination, works with crews and trade specialists, and helps keep the scope, workmanship, and field progress aligned.
